HRP’s Clifton Park New York office has an immediate full time opportunity for an individual with six or more years of experience in Environmental Compliance. Candidates must demonstrate firsthand experience in the following areas:

 

  • Multimedia Compliance Auditing
  • Hazardous Waste Management
  • Storm Water Permit and Spill Control Plan preparation
  • Petroleum and Chemical Tank Management
  • Development of Corrective Actions
  • Completion of applicability, determinations, plans, permits, training  for various environmental programs
  • Problem solving for a wide variety of clients and situations
  • Ability to learn and apply new regulatory requirements

 

Experience with air permitting is not required, but preferred, and includes:

  • Air Emission Auditing and Reporting
  • Air Applicability Determinations and Permitting (local, state, federal)
  • Working Knowledge or RICE, Boiler MACT, Part 212
  • Modeling (AER MOD, Screen3) a plus

Requirements

Individuals must have strong organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills and be proficient in MS Office products and appropriate professional level software. Specific qualifications for the role include:

 

  • BS degree in Environmental, Civil,  Mechanical,  or Chemical Engineering or technically related field  
  • 6 years plus of experience in Environmental Compliance, preferably in a consulting environment
  • Management and development of junior staff
  • Possess a current PE license or eligible to obtain a PE license (preferred, but not required)
