NYSDEC’s Part 212 Air Toxics Requirement - Friend or Foe?Job Type: 2:00 PM-3:00 PM (EST)Start Date: 01/23/2018Location: Online at GoToWebinar
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) is requiring a Part 212 Air Toxics review whenever an air permit renewal, modification or new permit is submitted. These sweeping changes will potentially impact any regulated source that has air pollutant emissions associated with its manufacturing operations. Sources are advised to carefully consider the potential impact on their operations, so those impacts can be minimized. If implemented properly, it can be used to defend your operations and provide the community assurance that you are not emitting harmful air contaminants. Alternatively, if not properly implemented, public review can lead to bad public relations, litigation or blocking of a plant expansion or construction.
This webinar will discuss:
- Overview of Part 212 and its potential impact on operation;
- How is the NYSDEC implementing Part 212;
- Part 212 process; and
- Case study.
