HRP, an environmental /civil engineering and hydrogeology firm, is pleased to announce Dhaval Shah, senior project scientist at HRP, was selected to visit with Warren Buffett last weekend in Omaha, NE through the MBA program at Wake Forest University.
“This was the trip of a lifetime and I am honored to have been chosen to participate,” said Dhaval. “I look up to Mr. Buffett and want to emulate his work ethics throughout my career. He is a living example for young leaders to see and understand that no matter how much you earn, always remain humble.”
Dhaval was the only one selected for this event in his Charlotte MBA program of over 100 students. During this visit with Warren Buffett, students from business schools around the world had lunch with Mr. Buffett and were able to discuss his career, experiences, goals, etc. The group also toured some of Warren Buffett’s companies in Omaha, including the Berkshire Hathaway office, Nebraska Furniture Mart and Borsheim Jewelry Store.
Warren Buffett further selected Dhaval from the students on the trip to visit his office, ride in his personal car to lunch and talk one-on-one about Dhaval’s education and his role as an environmental consultant and risk manager at HRP. Mr. Buffett shared his advice with Dhaval to always associate with people whom you want to become, as you will move in the direction of the people you are with.
