Training

This one and a half (1.5) day course is designed for associates who will be involved in the development, implementation, maintenance or improvement of their organization’s environmental management system (EMS).  This training details the requirements of the 2015 edition of the ISO 14001 standard.  This course is beneficial for both managers who provide their leadership towards the success of the management system and for associates (including “management reps”) who are responsible for the tasks to keep the EMS functioning.  A certificate will be provided upon completion of in-class exercises.

Course Objectives:

• Understand the concepts and benefits of an environmental management system
• Gain detailed knowledge of the ISO 14001:2015 requirements
• Have the knowledge to implement or update your environmental management system
• Participate in exercises to practice learned concepts
• Gain ideas on integrating the management system into business/operations
• Know the common mistakes and industry best practices
• Use your management system to support your sustainability program
