HRP Associates Adds Staff in Derby

April 28, 2022 (Derby, CT) − HRP Associates Inc. (HRP), an environmental engineering and hydrogeology firm in Derby, announces the addition of Matt Ormrod as a Senior Consultant.

“HRP is pleased to welcome Matt into our collaborative team of professionals serving clients from the Derby office,” said Matt Wujcik, Senior Project Manager. “We are excited about the talent and experience he brings to our team as well as our clients and look forward to his future accomplishments here at HRP.”

Ormrod’s responsibilities include the technical support of projects focusing on design and execution of hydrogeological investigations, remediation actions, and environmental assessments.  His other areas of expertise include regulatory compliance and land surveying.

“I am generally excited to continue meeting and working with HRP’s multidisciplinary teams/professionals.  I’ve been hearing about some interesting projects that are currently/soon to be underway and am looking forward to putting in my effort towards these collaborative endeavors that are vital to CT’s economic and environmental prosperity,” said Ormrod.  “I am also excited to embrace the “work hard play hard” culture here and join in on some of the fun!”

Ormrod is a graduate of the University of New Haven where he received a Master’s degree in Environmental Science.  He also attended Southern Connecticut State University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Earth Science.
