HRP’s Online Learning is accessible through any internet browser.  However, out-of-date web browsers have caused issues in for some HRP Online Learning users. Browsers may update automatically, but other times you’ll need to do it manually. If you’re experiencing problems, we recommend checking if your browser is up to date by visiting What's My Browser.

We recommend that you use an updated version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

This occurs typically when the web browser is out of date or we commonly see this occur with Internet Explorer users.  Exit the course and re-enter through Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox and the issue should resolve itself.

Glad you asked!  Yes, we recommend changing your personal settings to “autoplay” and “autocomplete” just to make progressing through the course even easier!  You can change these settings by clicking the settings wheel on the right hand side of your screen as shown below:

All computer settings are different but try not having the window maximized as shown below:

Once you complete your course quiz, a confirmation email will be sent to HRP.  Upon successful completion of the quiz (passing is 70% or more), a certificate of training will be e-mailed to you typically within 1 business day.

There is only one opportunity to take the graded quiz so it is important that users complete each module of the course and take advantage of “check your knowledge questions” along the way.  If the user does not successfully complete the quiz, he or she will be contacted by an HRP professional to discuss the test questions missed and to gauge understanding.  If necessary, HRP can reset the user in the course to allow a second opportunity to successfully complete the quiz.

•    Some of our coupons do expire so check the expiration date.  
•    Some of our coupons have a maximum number of redemptions.  Make sure you have not reached your maximum redemption number.  HRP can help you identify how many your company has used and how many you have left.
•    Make sure you are entering the right code.  Copy and pasting the code into the coupon code window may help.
•    Make sure cookies are enabled on their browser. 
•    Firewalls are sometimes problematic with coupon codes.  If all other tips fail, it is likely a firewall issue.  Call HRP and we can “manually” apply your code to ensure access to the course.

Our training is a combination of videos, slides and narration.  Our system does not provide closed captioning nor does it display word for word cometary on the screen.  If you or an employee has special hearing needs, we encourage you to contact us before enrolling in a course to see if accommodations might be made.

Yes!  If you successfully complete the online DOT Hazardous Materials course and test, you will be able to sign manifests (and other DOT shipping papers too!)
