ITRC Fact Sheets as Key Source of Information on PFAS Chemicals

As environmental agencies across the country identify increasing numbers of communities where PFAS chemicals are detected in public and private water supplies, multiple types of stakeholders, including environmental professionals and community leaders, as well as average citizens, are looking for reliable sources of information on the nature and characteristics of these chemicals. One source of reliable, easily accessible information designed for use by multiple stakeholders is a series of Fact Sheets prepared by the Interstate Technical and Regulatory Council (ITRC) to present pertinent aspect of PFAS chemicals from history of use to toxicology and risk to human health.
