HRP's Holiday Spirit in Action

December 2nd, 2024

The holiday season brings a special opportunity to reflect on the power of community and the spirit of giving. At HRP, we believe in working hard and playing hard, but we also value the importance of helping others. During this time of year, which can be so difficult for many, we’re reminded that there are many organizations dedicated to supporting individuals and families in need, and the holidays are a particularly important time for their work.

HRP is proud to support several causes that align with our team’s values and commitment to giving back. In our Connecticut office, we contribute to Farmington Community Services by taking part in their Thanksgiving Family Meal Donation Program, providing meal baskets to families who might otherwise struggle to enjoy a holiday feast. Through the Adopt-a-Family Holiday Gift Program, we help ensure children have holiday gifts to unwrap, along with meal baskets to brighten the season for entire families.

In New York, our efforts support a variety of impactful organizations. Wellspring, a shelter offering vital resources to survivors of domestic abuse, holds a special place in our hearts. Contributing to their mission is a reminder that everyone deserves a safe and supportive environment, especially during the holidays. Additionally, our team participates in a water and toy drive to benefit the Ronald McDonald House in Albany, bringing comfort and care to families navigating medical challenges. We also contribute to a canned food drive supporting Shen Helping Hands Food Pantry, ensuring that those in need have access to nourishing meals during the winter months.

What ties all of this together is the work-hard, play-hard spirit that defines HRP’s culture. Whether we’re tackling projects or organizing donation efforts, our team comes together with enthusiasm and dedication. We’re fortunate to partner with organizations that make a real difference, and we encourage everyone to find causes they feel connected to. The need is vast, but the impact of every contribution—big or small—can be profound.
