HRP Gives Greenville a Hand

May 15th, 2014

HRP participated in the 2014 United Way Hands on Greenville (HOG Day).

"We were happy to give back to Greenville because it offers so much to our business and community," said Tad Goetcheus, VP of Southeast and Midwest Regional Operations for HRP. "Not only did HOG Day allow our team to bond, but we were able to experience how collaborative and supporting this city can be."

HOG Day is an annual event, hosted by the United Way of Greenville County, that brings together organizations, teams, families and friends to volunteer their time and efforts into bettering Greenville. This full day of community service is organized into different service projects based on the city's needs each year.

HRP was assigned the project of making Kuranda dog beds for the local animal shelter, Greenville County Animal Care. These beds are made from PVC pipe and heavy-duty vinyl and are known to be chew proof, comfortable and easy to clean. Family members of HRP joined the team in dedicating their day to assembling these beds.
