"HRP Forward"

"HRP Forward" is our Sustainability Program developed to ensure we remain focused and committed to achieving our sustainability goals while driving positive, long-term change for our company and the communities we serve. The program serves as a strategic framework that guides our efforts, helping us align day-to-day operations with our broader vision for a sustainable and prosperous future.

Ultimately, HRP Forward is more than just a program—it's a continuous journey that guides HRP in staying focused on its mission, adapting to change, and ensuring that our company’s growth is both responsible and sustainable.

In 2025, HRP Forward was recognized as being within the top 35% of all sustainability programs by ecovadis.  HRP is pleased to build on this success and recognition as we continue to improve and move our environment forward!

Sustainable Development Goals

HRP has integrated sustainability into its business operations by localizing the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from three perspectives:  our company, our employees and our practices.

SDGs Localized Across the Company:  HRP localized UN SDG targets and indicators for specific SDGs.  These goals and indicators support our business, our clients and our communitites by localizing goals around 16 of the 17 UN SDGs.  

SDGs Localized Across its Employees:  HRP has identified for each of its job functions the relevant SDGs that role supports.  Employees impact sustainability internally relative to business governance and culture as well as externally relative to services we provide clients and stakeholders.  Through the collaboration and dedication of all HRP employees, 15 of the 17 UN SDGs may be beneficially impacted.

SDGs Localized Across our Practices:  HRP has identified for each of its practices the relevant SDGs that our technical work and services on behalf of our clients supports.  These beneficial impacts may be experienced not only by our clients but also by the associated communities, environment, and value stream.  Ten of the 17 UN SDGs may be beneficially impacted by the completion of HRP's sevices.

Our Progress

  • Completed materiality assessment and identified topic areas HRP is elevating, monitoring and maintaining.
  • Completed its first ever 3rd party assessment of its sustainability program in 2023, the results of which informed a 3-year sustainability improvement plan.
  • Offers a Career Advocacy Program to support team members in the early part of their careers.
  • Invest in employee training and development of its employees with a goal of investing more than 40 hours of training and development per employee per year.
  • Supports employee opportunity and retention through transparent recruiting process, routine performance evaluations, and equitable benefit and professional activities opportunities. 
  • Strengthens data protection and confidentiality through training and robust cybersecurity protocols.
  • Is committed to its Values Impact Program (VIP) to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, respect, inclusion, and collaboration across all levels of our organization.
  • Supports employee resource groups to build culture and community throughout HRP.
  • Offer health and wellness programs to employees, including access to mental health resources and fitness programs.
  • Assures the health and safety of HRP's employees through an open and collaborative health and safety program.
  • Encourages and supports our employees to volunteer in activities that enhance and serve the communities in which we live and work with HRP sponsored volunteer time off.
  • Manage our value chain, paying particular attention to our partners, subcontractors, vendors and supplier relationships.
  • Is committed to establishing, implementing, maintaining and communicating policies, including those around ethical business conduct.
