July 1, 2024 (Clifton Park, NY) − HRP Associates Inc. (HRP), an environmental engineering and hydrogeology firm in Clifton Park, announces the addition of Kim B. as a Senior Project Manager.

“The Clifton Park office recently welcomed back Kim B. to the HRP family.  Kim previously worked for HRP.  He bringsover 37 years of experience performing and managing a wide variety of environmental projects including soil, groundwater and air quality investigations, permitting and remediation projects and management of professional staff,” said Mark W., Principal & Contract Manager. “Kim is also a Qualified Environmental Professional in the State of New York and has been a Licensed Environmental Professional in the State of Connecticut.” 

Kim’s responsibilities are environmental quality, permitting, site investigations and remediation of soil, groundwater and air quality impacts including permits, bulk storage compliance and closures, spill assessments, remediation and closures and extended remedial actions under the NYS Spills Program, the NYSDEC Brownfields and the NYSDEC Hazardous Waste Program.

“I started with HRP only 5 years after they formed and worked closely with a small group of geologists, engineers and scientists learning from each other and our group leader, John Housman,” said Kim. “All these years later, I get to rejoin this highly refined team of environmental professionals in a leadership role, doing the work I love, in the amazing Upstate NY area.  It’s the perfect job for me and I’m excited to be back working with such an amazing company.” 

Kim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Biology and Chemistry from Central Connecticut State University.
