The Consult

HRP Associates Inc. (HRP), an environmental engineering and hydrogeology firm in Clifton Park, announces the addition of Mark P. as a Consultant.

“We’re thrilled to have Mark as part of our team in the Clifton Park office,” said Patrick M., Project Manager. “Mark is making a change from his previous role as a lab director. The fact that he took the initiative to get his New York State Geologist in Training (GIT) certification before landing a job as a Geologist was pretty cool. We’re excited to see him put those skills into practice working on our NYSDEC and brownfield redevelopment projects.”

Mark’s responsibilities include field work, data analysis, and reporting associated with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), NYSDEC Site Characterizations, and various remediation actions.

“After working almost 6 years in the environmental consulting industry as a Lab Technical Director, I am very excited to be involved in the field and further utilize my degree in geological sciences as an entry level geologist with HRP,” said Mark P. “I received a warm welcome and am excited to be a part of this team and continue advancing.”

Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
